First Class have been very busy in science this week. They learned all about density and why some objects sink while others float. They put their knowledge to the test in a ‘Sink and Float’ experiment using objects such as wood, metal and wool. Following this, the children worked in small groups building boats to float on water. With a bit of team work and a few tweaks here and there, they were sailing away!
