3rd and 4th were busy doing various Halloween activities in the run up to mid-term.

Irish

-We learned and wrote out a Halloween poem, wrote a Halloween story as a group and we also played Halloween bingo which everyone really enjoyed.

English

-We were busy creating Halloween acrostic poems and writing about our past Halloween experiences as part of Narrative writing. We listened to some Halloween stories.

Art

-We created Halloween cards and completed the paintings which can be seen below.

Maths

-We looked at 3D shapes and in particular the cube. We made pumpkin cubes.

-We also completed Halloween maths mystery games.

History

-We learned about the history of Halloween. We found out it is an ancient Irish tradition.

Sicence

-We carried out a fun science experiment.
