On Wednesday October 25th, Caroline Casey ‘Water and Road Safety Development Officer’ with Cork County Council came to talk to the children about road safety.

Caroline gave very interesting talks to the classes about road safety especially at this time of year when it is dark so much of the time. Among the things Caroline emphasised  were: the need for pedestrians to be visible to motorists, wearing helmets when cycling and wearing seat belts correctly.

Caroline also urged the children to be particularly careful when they are out – in dark clothes – trick or treating at Halloween.

We would like to thank Caroline very much for taking the time to visit our school.
