The girls of Laragh N.S. competed in the Sciath na Scol camogie final on Monday May 29th. They were unfortunate in the end to lose out to a very impressive team from Gaelscoil Cionn tSaile.
Overall it was a fantastic occasion and a great achievement to reach the final. The girls got the opportunity to play in the magnificent Pairc Ui Chaoimh stadium and to use all the facilities, including the dressing rooms and the training area.
The result may not have gone the way we wished but the girls can be proud of their great effort and their contribution to an exciting game.
On the way home from the game, the girls and supporters stopped in Billies for some well deserved food and treats.
