Fr. John Kingston has been the priest for our school for the past 10 years. Recently, Fr. John has moved to another parish so we wanted to thank him for all he had done for Laragh School.
So on October 6th, between the showers, pupils, staff, members of the Board of Management and representatives of the Parents Association gathered to say ‘Thank You’ to Fr. John for all his work down through the years – particularly with the Communion and Confirmation classes.
There were some short speeches, words of thanks from the pupils and a presentation to Fr. John from the Board of Management. Fr. John thanked all the pupils for their kindness and he also planted a tree to mark the occasion.
All at Laragh wish Fr. Kingston the very best of luck in his new role in Timoleague Parish.
