We were lucky enough to have a Zoom call with one of our heroes – the famous astronaut Chris Hadfield!
He told us that he was 9 years old when he made the decision that he wanted to be an astronaut when he grew up – that’s about our age! He said he needed to learn to swim because astronauts train under water, to keep fit because astronauts need to be fit and to fly because ….well we think that’s obvious!
We had watched all his videos that show how things work on board the International Space Station, so we were very excited to have him chat to us in person. He told us how and where to look out for the ISS that night.
