For many years now, our school community has supported our local branch of St. Vincent de Paul at Christmas time. In the past we would bring in food stuffs for Christmas Hampers and the entrance area would be jam-packed with food items. It would then be all loaded into the cars of local SVP volunteers.
For the past 2 years, SVP have not been distributing food hampers so we now use our ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ to show our support.
So thanks to all the children for wearing their Christmas jumpers and the parents for contributing to this worthwhile local cause – getting us all into the true spirit of Christmas.
A total of €515.00 was raised.
