Homework should be banned!
In my opinion… homework should be banned because it is a waste of time.
First it should be banned because, why have 1 hour of homework when we already have 5 hours of learning (excluding breaks)? I feel that I find it hard to come home from school and do more work. It would be better if I could do some exercise and get some fresh air. I have learned loads of new information during the day. Homework is just secretly summer school in disguise.
It’s true that parts of homework are boring. Reading a book without pictures is difficult. We should be allowed to read our own books that we like. Think of a 3d print, without the supports (pictures), the print looks bad but with those supports, you can have a clear view of what’s happening.
Another reason is it takes time away from friends & family to play games to have fun and learn. Playing outside gives our muscles strength, time to meet friends and to get fresh air.
I believe you now agree that we should bring back homework passes or ban homework entirely.
