On Sat January 27th, pupils from Laragh N.S. participated in the Bandon Credit Union Quiz held in Bandon GAA Pavilion. We had a team in the U.11 category and a team in the U13 category.
It was a very enjoyable and well run quiz consisting of 10 rounds of 6 questions for the U.11 teams with 2 extra rounds for the U.13 teams.
In the U.11 category, Laragh finished 3rd, just losing out on a tie-breaker to Bandonbridge N.S. for 2nd place.
In the U.13 category, Laragh finished 2nd, winning a tie-breaker again involving Bandonbridge N.S.
