On Thursday June 8th, the girls football team, once again, won their West Cork Sciath na Scol final. In a very exciting game, Laragh defeated an excellent team from G.S Mhíchíl Uí Choileáin Cloch na gCoillte. The final score was Laragh: 3-3, G.S. Mhíchíl Uí Choileáin 1-6.
The trophy was presented to captain Lucy O’Donovan and vice-captain, Kate Barrett by Cork hurler and former pupil of Laragh N.S., Luke Meade.
