5th Class kicked off the year by completing projects based on the Rugby World Cup. Each group took on a country and complied a booklet of information including places of interest, national dishes and native animals. They took a lot of hard work but looked fantastic when they were finished and displayed in our classroom.
In history we were learning about the Maya and their ancient culture. We created Maya masks in art and assembled maya temples which were decorated with fun facts and pieces of information.
