5th class have been studying Leonardo Da Vinci and his inventions. They completed some Kahoot quizzes, created their own Mona Lisa portrait and even tried their hand at recreating some of his inventions.
For science week we tried building Da Vinci suspension bridges out of lollipop sticks. We investigated how much weight they could hold and they were able to hold the weight of our water bottles!
We also recreated Da Vinci’s parachute. Using a template we assembled the parachutes and tested them out with some lego men!
