On Wednesday December 20th, Kay O’Flynn (ETB music teacher) organised a concert for all the children in the school. Pupils who learn tin whistle and/or guitar from Kay performed a lovely mixture of Christmas tunes and carols to get us in the mood for Christmas. At times all the audience was able to join in on the singing as well. It was a very pleasant occasion.
All groups played very well and it is really great to see how much progress they make from one concert to the next. We are delighted to have Kay teaching at Laragh N.S. every Wednesday and giving the children the opportunity to learn tin whistle and guitar in school.
