Pupils from Scoil Naomh Seosamh joined the pupils from other local schools for a chess tournament organised by Ficheall.ie. in Bandon GAA Pavilion on Monday Feb 13th.
There were 120 children taking part with 32 of them from Laragh. It was great for our pupils to meet new people and play them in chess. In the hall there were 60 games of chess being played at the same time. Each child played 6 games in what was a very well organised and enjoyable occasion.
Maybe we have some budding chess masters in our midst.
