5th and 6th class swimming

5th and 6th classes been attending swimming lessons in Dunmanway Swimming Pool for the past 6 weeks. They have now completed their lessons. 3rd and 4th classes will go swimming in January.

Best of luck to all of our 2nd class pupils who wi Best of luck to all of our 2nd class pupils who will be receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation this evening at the Lady Chapel, Gaggin.
The SEAI came to deliver a workshop in our school The SEAI came to deliver a workshop in our school last week to 3rd, 4th and 5th Class. The workshop explored the science of energy and climate change including our current global problems and what we can do to help. They had some fun watching experiments and took part in a giant boardgame using all they learned from the workshop.
We are very proud of our two teams that competed t We are very proud of our two teams that competed this evening in the Credit Union Schools Quiz. A great outcome with our U13 team securing an impressive second place. 🎉 Both teams should be incredibly proud of themselves. Well done 👏👏
Senior Infants have been busy bees this week! We r Senior Infants have been busy bees this week! We revised the story of 8 by using our giant playing cards to play a matching game and we started exploring number 9 and made lots of sets of nine!

Having learned about various New Year traditions a Having learned about various New Year traditions and celebrating Chinese New Year this week, 2nd class created their own fireworks using some food colouring, oil and water! 🎆 🐍
Lá Fhéile Bríde 4th Class created some beautif Lá Fhéile Bríde 4th Class created some beautiful Art work this week, they each designed St. Brigid's cloak. Also, this afternoon they worked very hard to make some impressive St. Brigid crosses Have a lovely long weekend everyone 😊
