School Tour Day
On the 30th of May, Fifth and Sixth class had their school tour in Ballyhass Adventure Sports Centre, Mallow. We left Laragh at 7.30am on a double decker bus and arrived at around 9.15 am. When we got out, we put our bags away into lockers and were separated into three groups. I was put into Group 1. We went to put on helmets and harnesses, then made our way to the big zip line that went across the lake!!
After we each had a turn going across and back, we had a drink break and then went across to the height section. There you had to climb up a wobbly ladder of logs. I got to the top, although it was very tricky. When that was finished, we had some pizza. There was a choice between pepperoni and margarita. I choose pepperoni, and I thought it was delicious!
We then played some team games, Slap and Capture the Flag. After the games we went to the water, where we went on an inflatable obstacle course, where people could push you off!! i got pushed off a lot, but I enjoyed it all the same.
It was definitely one of my favourite tours!

Our School Tour
Yesterday we went on our school tour to Ballyhass in Mallow with Fifth class. We left school at 7.30am and we got a double decker bus. I sat in the back with Ethan, Louis and Ronan upstairs, then after awhile Louis, Ronan and I went downstairs to join Sergiusz . He was being very funny and pretended to press the stop buttons in front of him.
When we got there we were spilt into three groups. I was in group 1 and all of my friends were there too. The first thing we did was zip lining and there were two courses, one went over the lake and the other went through some trees. I liked the first one better because it was longer. At the very end Sergiusz went on the first zip line and that was very nice.
After the zip line, we did a climbing activity which was very hard and I was very surprised when some people got to the top. Then we had lunch and some pizza, it was very tasty. After lunch, we played Capture the Flag but then the highlight of my day was 100% the water activities. I had been here before but all of it seemed new. As soon as I got in, I went straight to the big dome with Louis and Ronan and we took it over. After awhile another school came in and then it was absolute war! We kept on pushing people off until we were called to come in.
On the bus home it was very relaxed and we were just talking with each other and then we went downstairs to Sergiusz when we got to Bishopstown and he was showing us how he does wheelies in his wheelchair.
All in all it was a great day.

May 30th, 2022
Yesterdays school tour was really fun but the best part was definitely the water and the zip lines. The first activity we did was the zip lining and it was really cool because you got to zip line over water and through trees. Then we did heights, team building activities and had lunch.
After lunch, we went to the Aqua Park which was my favourite. The chaos was so fun and so were the slides. I also really enjoyed the hamster wheel. That was our last activity so we then went home and we got back to school at about six o’clock.
Overall it was a great day.

Our School Tour
On Monday the 30th of May, 2022 Fifth class of Laragh N.S. went on their school tour. They went to Ballyhass. The first activity they did was zip lining. They all thought it was scary at first but when they all did it, it was amazing.
Secondly, they did climbing activities. For one group they had to climb up a wobbly tower, then jump to a gymnastics bar and drop down.
Finally, they did water games on an inflatable park. Overall they all thought it was super fun and amazing. They got back to school around 6pm.
