Ruth and Katie came to our school again this September to teach the pupils of 5th class about cycling on the road in safety.
Children learned practical aspects of bike maintenance and safety, bike control, stopping your bike safely, hand signals for left/right turns and about the hazards cyclists face on the road.
For the last 2 sessions 5th class went out on the local roads in small groups to practice the skills they had learned.
