3rd and 4th class have been busy throughout the month of September in all curriculum areas.
Please see below a sample of some of the work we have done in our Art and SPHE.
Art – Landscapes which developed the children’s use of colour and sense of depth in their pictures.
Art – Hot air balloons – These were done to continue on the theme of transport which we had been looking at in our Geography during the month. We looked at various different types of air, land and sea transport as well as exports and imports.
Road Safety – We designed posters to continue on from our lessons in SPHE about road safety. We learned about being safe on the roads especially as the evenings get darker going towards winter.
