After 4 weeks of lessons with Katie and Karl from Cycle Sense in the Quad, 5th class took to the road to put what they have learned into practice.
They practiced cycling in single file, stopping at a junction, signalling and turning left/right at a junction, and going through a junction. They learned to read road signs. There was lots of looking behind and checking for traffic coming.
It was a lovely day and very enjoyable as well as being a very valuable learning experience.
